WHAT IS THE UGM ENCOUNTER ?
This is an orientation class offered every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 7pm-8:30pm for prospective volunteers.  It is our desire to partner with you in the God’s work through Union Gospel Mission.  Attending the UGM Encounter will educate, inspire and broaden your horizons about homelessness and addiction.   RSVP by Contacting Heidi Hege, Volunteer Coordinator.

Want to get a taste for this ministry and see if it fits you?  Contact Heidi Hege about volunteering during one of our big yearly events. Our big events are Easter Brunch, Operation Overcoat the last Saturday in September, Love Your Neighbor Day on Thanksgiving day and Christmas Brunch. Ready to dive in a little deeper?  Become a High-Impact Volunteer. The goal is to match your gifts and talents to our needs, allowing you to do meaningful, purposeful work that makes a difference. SOME OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE
In homeless ministry: serving an evening meal, preaching God’s Word at an evening meal, handing out clothes & blankets and many other items in our day time clothing room and other possibilities.

In our LifeChange addiction recovery community, you can help men and women transform their lives by coming alongside in support, teaching, or working at the thrift store with LifeChange residents.

Help keep our administration costs low by partnering with us in office projects and organization.
