Union Gospel Mission to provide Christmas Day meal and clothing
Portland, Oregon - Union Gospel Mission will brighten Christmas Day for people who are homeless or in need this holiday season by providing a Christmas Day meal and clothing at Union Gospel Mission at 15 NW Third Avenue in Portland on Tuesday, December 25 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. This event is free and open to anyone in need of a meal.
Union Gospel Mission is seeking donations of boneless ham, instant potatoes, and yams for the meal. Bags of clothing and hygiene items will also be distributed. Donations of warm clothing, blankets and a few pre-wrapped gifts for children are needed, with the gender and age group noted on the gift.
