Union Gospel Mission’s Men’s LifeChange provides a place where men struggling with addiction and life-controlling issues can learn to transform their lives. We provide classes and groups for all of our residents including parenting skills classes, relapse prevention groups, anger management and communication, trauma recovery groups, etc. 

• Life Change is a long-term faith-based program that provides substance abuse recovery and life skills training and for people serious about taking a wholistic approach to overcoming addiction.

• Testing for drugs and alcohol, when appropriate.

• Classes and workbooks dealing with relapse prevention and learning about the root causes of addiction and/or alcohol or drug abuse.

• 12-step recovery groups [NA, AA, Celebrate Recovery, SMART Recovery] for intentional accountability are required for all men in the program.

• Development of a transition plan that includes resources and pathways to sustainable housing, employment, education, and connections with a healthy community of support.

• Life Change provides work therapy and training.
