Union
Gospel Mission fall fundraiser set for October 23
Banquet event will raise funds for Union Gospel Mission's long-term
recovery community LifeChange
Portland,
OR- Union Gospel Mission will be holding a fundraising banquet
on October 23 to benefit Union Gospel Mission's long-term recovery
community, LifeChange. The banquet will take place at the Jantzen
Beach DoubleTree Hotel, doors will open at 5:45 pm. Admission
is free for this fundraising event. Those interested in attending

is limited.
Featured at
the event will be Master of Ceremonies, Dave Sweeney, KOIN news
meteorologist, and violinist David Klinkenberg. Mr. Klinkenberg
has been playing the violin since age four, and has played with
such nationally known artists as Rich Mullins and Sixpence None
the Richer. The event will also feature guest speakers sharing
their compelling stories of coping with and overcoming the darkness
of addiction.
