Union
Gospel Mission launches new website
Portland,
OR- Union Gospel Mission has a new website at www.ugmportland.org.
The new site was developed in a very cost effective manner, thanks
to non-profit rates from the web designer, One Dog Designs, and
the web hosting company, Sterling Communications. The website
will help both Union Gospel Mission donors and people in need
of Union Gospel Mission's services.
"The
new website enables people to download an application to LifeChange,
our addiction recovery program, in addition to learning in more
detail about LifeChange and the other services we offer to someone
in need. The website also provides tools for our donors, such
as the ability to donate online, get information about volunteering
and downloading a volunteer waiver form," said Bill Russell,
Union Gospel Mission's Executive Director.
In addition
to features for people in need of services, Union Gospel Mission
donors and volunteers, the website contains extensive information
about Union Gospel Mission and the Mission's programs. A general
information brochure, annual report, press releases and contact
information for all staff members are available on the website.
"Our
organization is expanding and reaching out to the community more
and more, so we're happy to offer an easy way for people to access
information about us. We hope people will get the help they may
need once they find out more about LifeChange, or learn more about
the work we do and support it through donations or volunteering,"
said Russell.
